Château et jardins de Saint-Loup-sur-Thouet

A 17th century castle constructed by Louis Gouffier, the Marquis of Caravas, who was the hero of the tale "The booted cat" by Perrault. Visit the flower garden, the orangery, the vegetable garden, the canal pavilion and the exceptional collection of 1000 fruit trees at Saint-Loup castle (grown using 18th century growing techniques). The garden is open to the public.
