Jardin des Sens
The 7000 m² garden of the senses (jardin des Sens) is a pedagogical tool designed in 1991 wiith volunteers from the C.P.I.E. Pays de Gâtine Poitevine. The site includes a gardener's quarters with a greenhouse, a classroom and an an exhibit room. The garden is to be explored with your 5 senses: Touch the barks and feel the leaves beneath your fingers; walk barefoot along the path of matters, listen to the shimmering bamboos and the waterfall's 'glug-glug'; taste and savor the vegetables and fruits in season; look and observe the landscaped garden.
