Hélène BAILLY
At the Oucherie farm, south-east of Mazières-en-Gâtine : Hélène Bailly visits her 60 chickens, who walk on a hectare of green meadow or take refuge in a mobile wooden hut. And for her first breeding experience, she wanted to convert directly to organic farming. "It's a deep conviction. I wish to make the animals grow and breed them as well as possible." I'm lucky to have companies nearby that supply organic seeds. I give them rice, corn, lentils, wheat... And sometimes potatoes from our organic garden," says the 43-year-old farmer. In addition, the chickens do not receive any vaccine or deworming agent other than naturel : "I only treat them with cider vinegar. » Poultry collection at the farm by reservation only.
