Le Verger du Tail : Jérôme DUDOUIT production of 100% natural fruits. The orchard is mainly planted with old varieties of apples and pears and a large number of other fruits, strawberries, raspberries, quinces, medlars, apple juice and goose eggs. All the work is done manually to maintain this orchard; at first we had 11 white geese from Guinea and now there are between 30 and 40 geese grazing. In order to further promote the ecosystem and biodiversity, we have had a pond dug and the orchard is mowed only twice a year . We do not use any chemical treatments. Every tree, every plant, every shrub is mulched with either chestnut wood chips, BRF (broken rameal wood) or grass. And finally, we decided to apply for our Organic Agriculture certification.
