The Grimauidère site brings together the main elements of the Gâtine bocage landscape: meadows, woods, moors, fallow land, crops, hedges, ponds and watercourses. La Grimaudière is home to the IFFCAM - the Institut Francophone de Formation au Cinéma Animalier de Ménigoute. The site has been designated a Sensitive Natural Area. Two discovery trails of about 1.4 km are accessible, as well as an educational garden, and numerous activities (exhibitions, photo courses, etc.).
