The Valley of Thouet gathers 66 communes and 3 communities of communes. Among its valleys, there are 185 kilometres of small tributaries and a total of 305 kilometres of managed watercourses. It is a rich natural space, with important natural sites but also a territory with an exceptional heritage (medieval districts, cities of art...) and where many animations and festivals take place. An itinerary is proposed along the Thouet river as well as many bicycle loops.
