Orgue Aubertin

In the church of Saint-Loup-sur-Thouet, discover the magnificent Aubertin organ, named after organ builder Bernard Aubertin and modelled on North German organs. The organ was built in his workshops in Courtefontaine near Dole (Jura). It was installed in the church in December 1998. The instrument was placed on the floor, at the transept crossing, close to the liturgical choir during services, and in full view of the public during concerts, where it can easily be combined with vocal soloists, instrumentalists or a choir. Demonstrations of the organ are available on request from the Amis de l'Orgue association (Serge Rousseau: 05 49 70 81 92 / 06 88 79 31 84). Concerts are regularly organized in the church by the association. Find out more in the "Events" section.
