Croix hosannière à Louin

In the cemetery, a hosannière cross was listed as a "Monument Historique" in 1896. On Palm Sunday (Dominica Hosanna), the hosanne (sacred boxwood) was placed at the foot of the cross, or itself formed a woven cross (very common in Poitou), known as a croix hosannière. The cross is located in the cemetery.
